One Big State, Three Big Parties

SAG Awards Viewing Parties were held across Texas on Jan. 21 in concert with nationally televised broadcasts on both TNT and TBS.

Celebrations were held at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema locations in Austin, Katy (a suburb of Houston) and Dallas. As a prelude to the televised broadcast, each party featured a reel of production stills from regionally produced SAG-AFTRA projects made over the past year. In Houston and Austin, a member reel of headshots showcasing the region’s union talent was projected onto the big screen, with many of those actors present in the audience. A good time was had by all, y’all.
