The Oregon Media Production Association (OMPA) Advocacy Committee is pursuing an $8 Million increase to Oregon's current film incentive which would raise it from a $20M cap per year to $28M and attract an additional $100M in budgets each fiscal year. The current legislation is HB 3329.

The bill's first hearing is Monday, Feb. 17. It is CRITICAL to have as much written testimony as possible in favor of this bill. Please submit your testimony as soon as possible, but at the latest, prior to the public hearing at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17.

Tips:

  • Please double check that you are submitting your testimony for HB 3329 and it is easiest to upload your testimony as a PDF file.
  • In your written testimony, please identify yourself, your connection to the industry and be brief in explaining why the potential increase in the Oregon Production Investment Fund would help you personally and/or your business.
  • This is the FIRST of several hearings that will happen between now and June — please save your written testimony to submit again when the time comes.

Please feel free to share this info with anyone who works in the industry or whose business is affected positively by filming in Oregon.
