Dear Member,
Congress recently came together in a rare display of bi-partisanship and unanimously passed the Music Modernization Act ("MMA") in the House. The MMA included the CLASSICs Act.
It was a big step toward ensuring singers, sound recording artists, musicians and songwriters get fair pay for their work produced before 1972. But we’re only half-way there.
The act still needs to pass the Senate and get signed into law. Please click here to show your support and tell your senators to support the Music Modernization Act (S. 2823).
All recording artists deserve fair pay for their work, regardless of when it was recorded. Stand together in harmony with the great artists who produced iconic music before 1972. Their fight for fair pay is so close to bringing real change.
Please take action now: Ask the Senate to support the Music Modernization Act!
Strength in unity,
Gabrielle Carteris
President
