Party in Phoenix

After a two-year hiatus, the local viewing party of the SAG Awards was back in person at Gallagher’s Sports Grill in Phoenix on Feb. 26. Nearly 60 members and industry professionals from all over Arizona showed up to celebrate SAG-AFTRA and to network with one another. National Board member and Local SAG Awards Party Committee Chair Margie Ghigo hosted and emceed the event with the help of volunteers Joey Evans, Nancy Hall, Linda Rae Jurgens, Kyle Marsh and Earl Smith. There were door prizes galore along with union swag. Director, Locals Administration Lisha Brock also attended and assisted with the event. To summarize the evening, one member said, “Being able to personally reconnect and watch the show with fellow members meant so very much to me.”
