Are you ready to be cast in one of the 10-plus television series coming to Chicago?
• Do you have a new headshot?
• Is your Actors Access, Casting Networks, etc. profile/reel current?
• Do you have current government paperwork to submit to payroll: driver’s license (preferred), passport and/or state ID?
• Have a copy of your government paperwork in case production does not have a copier. NEVER allow a P.A. or production representative take a picture of your start paperwork with their personal cellphone.
• ALWAYS sign the Exhibit G (timesheet) at the end of the day. This is your way of verifying that your start/end and meal times are accurate. Also, during wardrobe fittings or ADR/looping sessions, make sure to fill out a timesheet.
Do you have a demo reel ready to send to your agent at a moment’s notice? If not, check with your agent and then check out this presentation from the SAG-AFTRA Foundation here.
