Description:
Join the SAG-AFTRA LA Conservatory for the Stand-Up Comedy Workshop.
Understand how multi-camera acting directly correlates to stand-up comedy. Learn how to set-up a joke, and land a punch-line. Learn how to be open and honest and harness those skills to make you a better, more confident actor.
Take your life experiences, the subject of a “killer” stand-up set! This workshop will go over stand-up comedy basic rules including setup, premise and stage etiquette, and selected individuals will have the opportunity to test out freshly minted material before the end of the workshop. Taught by Cool Beans Comedy producer and coach Corey Martin Craig, with more than 10+ years of stand-up comedy instruction.
Best for performers over the age of 18.
