On Saturday, Nov. 16, a group of Philly actors and broadcast members met at the Courtyard Philadelphia City Avenue for a leadership training meeting. The meeting began with an introduction and brief discussion about SAG-AFTRA’s committees before breaking into two groups to perform a “SWOT” analysis of the local. SWOT is an acronym that stands for “Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats,” and the two groups identified each for the actor and broadcaster categories of the local. After a brief break that featured Philly-themed snacks, the two groups reconvened to discuss their findings. The meeting concluded with the group setting priorities and planning the local’s 2025 calendar.
