The Portland Local is Seeking Legislative and Labor Committee Members

Have you been looking for a way to serve your union and make a difference in your community? Consider joining the Local's Legislative and Labor Committee. 

The Legislative and Labor Committee works with labor and industry organizations within the Portland Local’s jurisdiction to build solidarity, advocate for issues important to our members, and support legislation that will help SAG-AFTRA members within our region. 

The committee is currently seeking members to serve as delegates to the following organizations:  
•    The Northwest Oregon Labor Council 
•    The Southwest Washington Central Labor Council 
•    The Portland Theatrical Federation 
Delegates represent SAG-AFTRA at regular meetings and report on those meetings to the Committee Chair.
