Radio Players Present Holiday Shows

Gene Autry’s Melody Ranch Christmas Party cast. 

As part of its annual holiday presentation, SAG-AFTRA Radio Players rang in the season with two holiday-themed shows of Gene Autry’s Melody Ranch Christmas Party at the Autry Museum of the American West on Dec. 3. More than 200 members and guests watched special presentations of old-time radio with a holiday twist in celebration of the season. The Melody Ranch Christmas Party reenactments featured live music, comedy and drama by the cast, who portrayed “the singing cowboy” and his cowpokes, sidekick Pat Buttram, Jonny Bond, The Pinafores and The Cass County Boys.
