About the Film Festival:
ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York April 7-13, 2022 is the largest festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with disabilities. The weeklong festival is renowned for its wide-ranging international film selection, riveting conversations, and performances, presented annually in dozens of venues across the New York metropolitan area. In 2010, ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York expanded into an international program, presenting its one-of-a-kind programming in cities throughout the United States, Canada, and South America.

About the Accessibility Summit:
As a part of the 14th annual ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York, ReelAbilities will hold its first ever Film and Television Accessibility Summit April 11-12.
The summit will discuss accessibility as a creative asset at all phases, development through exhibition, and explore beyond the basics into progressive best practices. Industry leaders including Disabled creatives will share knowledge and experience providing participants with the tools to elevate accessibility and open pathways to deeper inclusion.
