Former SAG Chicago Branch President Shirley A. Kelly passed away on June 3 at the age of 92. After raising nine children, she became an actor and model, and was featured in many industrials, commercials, television shows and films, including Code of Silence and My Best Friend’s Wedding. In the 1980s, Kelly, alongside friend Rosanne Krevitt, co-founded the Spark Awards, an awards show celebrating film and television background performers in Chicago. A celebration of Kelly's life will be held later this summer.
