Roll Call! New York SAG-AFTRA Military Members Assemble for a Meet-and-Greet

On Thursday, Nov. 14, the New York Local Military Committee hosted its first Military Muster at the New York office. New York Local Military Committee Chair Ed Heavey; New York Local Military Committee members Marc Baron, Christina Bobrowsky and Rick Zahn; along with Vice President, New York and New York Local President Ezra Knight and Executive Vice President and New York Local President Linda Powell shared coffee and cookies at the afternoon gathering with members who currently serve or have served in the armed forces.

The New York Local Military Committee seeks to increase employment opportunities through outreach and engagement across the entertainment industry and by providing development opportunities such as classes, panels and gatherings to engage and unite the military community. The event concluded with tours of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation On-Camera and Voiceover Labs, two facilities that are free to use and available to all SAG-AFTRA members.
