Folsom, California’s Historic Granite Center played host to Capital Film Arts Alliance’s Fall Film Mixer. The nonprofit’s free event attracted about 75 film industry attendees, including SAG-AFTRA performers such as Buddy Rahming and Patrick Minderler, who snapped photos at its step and repeat, mingled over a full buffet and reveled in being together again, many for the first time since the start of the pandemic. SAG-AFTRA actor and CFAA Board member Donna-Lisa Otto, who also catered the event, enjoyed seeing everyone celebrating a shared passion for film.

“I thought it was amazing to see so many familiar faces,” said Otto.

Granite Center is Capital Film Arts Alliance’s new home for meetings and other future events. The nonprofit welcomes SAG-AFTRA members to participate in its events.
