SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contracts Wages & Working Conditions Committee Process Announced

Based on member interest, the SAG-AFTRA Houston-Austin Local may be conducting one or more Wages & Working (W&W) Conditions Committee meetings in preparation for the SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contracts Negotiations. Proposals for this important negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard; attend and participate in this very important process. Committee participation is open to all paid-up SAG-AFTRA members with the exception of any member actively producing due to conflict of interest.

If you have worked or are seeking work under the commercials contract, and are interested in being on the Houston-Austin W&W Conditions Committee, please respond to betsy.lewis@sagaftra.org by Sept. 22, 2018. Be sure to include your professional name, member ID and phone number. Also, indicate if you would like to be considered to serve as a committee chair/facilitator of the meeting(s). 

Any meeting(s) scheduled will be announced in early October.

If you cannot attend a W&W meeting, please make sure your voice is heard. You may submit proposal recommendations by email at commercialsw&w@sagaftra.org. Recommendations must be received by Friday, Nov. 2, 2018. All recommended proposals will be reviewed by the W&W Conditions Committee.

W&W meetings are only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing — no guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.
