An atmospheric shot of a pool table. The pool balls and sticks are arranged stylistically. A placard with ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ and SAG-AFTRA logos is placed across the table. To the right is a palm tree against the setting skyline.

SAG-AFTRA members celebrate Emmy weekend in West Hollywood.

SAG-AFTRA, in partnership with The Hollywood Reporter, hosted the 2024 Emmy Nominees Night on Sept. 13. The event took place two days before the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 15.

Guests arrived at the Stanley II house perched above the Sunset Strip to panoramic city views and smells of Shake Shack — which served black truffle burgers and black truffle parmesan fries.

Among those toasting achievements in television were the casts of Abbott Elementary, Baby Reindeer, Hacks and Shōgun, and personalities from popular unscripted television shows. Union leadership included SAG-AFTRA Secretary-Treasurer Joely Fisher, National Board member Lisa Ann Walter, SAG-AFTRA Chief Communications & Marketing Officer Pamela Greenwalt and SAGindie Executive Director Darrien Michele Gipson.

A dance party with DJ Kiss continued late into the night (and guests could grab a Shake Shack bag to-go on their way out!).
