In the words of L.A. Local Young Performers Committee member Sage Mayer, “Participating in the Looking Ahead Program has been a transformative experience that has taught me invaluable lessons about the entertainment industry and life as a whole. Through workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities, I have gained insight into the importance of professionalism, perseverance and self-care, while pursuing a career in acting. I have been a member of the program for almost seven years, and I am so grateful to everyone on staff and on the board of the Looking Ahead Program because this amazing opportunity has equipped me with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in an industry that can often be confusing and daunting. I look forward to applying what I have learned to my future endeavors as an actor, writer and producer.”
