
Members attended an important event commemorating the Americans with Disabilities Act’s 34th anniversary.
The White House held a Celebration of Diversity Pride and the 34th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act on Sept. 9. The event, hosted by President Joe Biden, was attended by disability rights activists and leaders. Representing SAG-AFTRA were National and New York Performers with Disabilities Committee Chair Christine Bruno, National Co-Vice Chair and Los Angeles Local Performers with Disabilities Committee Chair Nicole Cyrille, and national committee member Marilee Talkington.
