The 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild® Awards streamed live for the first time ever on Netflix’s YouTube channel on Feb. 26, and in the first 24 hours, received over 1 million views worldwide. On a night made by actors for actors to honor the year’s best television, film and stunt performances, that benchmark number has been yet another mark of success for this long-standing, well-loved industry event.

It’s only right to make this podcast episode all about the SAG Awards! SAG-AFTRA Executive Vice President Ben Whitehair and National Executive Director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland are joined by the awards’ executive producer, Jon Brockett, and writer Matt Roberts to talk about the night’s surprises, laughs, tears and historic firsts. Join us as we relive highlights of the night and get a behind-the-scenes look at some of our favorite show moments.

Don’t miss your chance to re-watch the SAG Awards! The full show is available on Netflix’s YouTube channel now through March 26. More information about the awards is available at sagawards.org.
