The market professionalism; the pension and health care benefits … I would honestly say the mark of any career is health insurance, and being able to put my daughter on my health insurance? Influencer. Content creator. We hear those terms all the time, and we see their work all across social media. But what does it truly mean to be an influencer or content creator, what makes the work especially attractive to performers and, for those interested in this vein of work, how can they make sure they’re leveraging their talent into true benefits?
SAG-AFTRA National Executive Director & Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland helps answer these and other questions in a special interview with Sidney Raskind, a popular content creator with over 5 million followers across Instagram and TikTok. Raskind describes how he got his start and his work as a content creator.
