SAG-AFTRA National Executive Director & Chief Negotiator
On May 26, SAG-AFTRA announced the appointment of longtime chief operating officer and general counsel Duncan Crabtree-Ireland as national executive director and chief negotiator. Throughout his 20-year tenure with the union, Crabtree-Ireland has been a driving force behind many of the strategic planning and diversity efforts of Screen Actors Guild and SAG-AFTRA.
This episode marks his debut as SAG-AFTRA podcast co-host, and is a wonderful introduction for members, unionists and industry leaders alike to get to know Crabtree-Ireland. Fellow co-host SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris has an intimate one-on-one conversation about Crabtree-Ireland’s beginnings, experiences and what he hopes to bring to his new role.
