SAG-AFTRA Statement on Continued Violence Targeting Journalists

LOS ANGELES — In response to the attack of a cameraman at a rally in El Paso on Tuesday, SAG-AFTRA today issued the following statement:
 
“SAG-AFTRA continues to be concerned with the growing number of violent acts against journalists. The attack on the BBC cameraman in El Paso, Texas, yesterday should be condemned by anyone who values the critical role of journalists in our democracy.”
