Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to the Asian American Pacific Islander community and to the family and friends of the victims who are also deeply affected by these devastating attacks.
Once again, we are left shocked and horrified in the wake of multiple mass shootings and deaths due to gun violence. In the last three weeks alone, there have been more mass shootings in the United States than there have been days in the year.
Gun violence is an epidemic in our country and, like mental health issues, which only further exacerbate the issue, must be addressed at every level of our society.
