SAG-AFTRA Women’s Committee Invites You to Celebrate #WomensEqualityDay By Sharing A Story of Activist Women, Aug. 26

On Aug. 26, Women’s Equality Day, the New York Department of Records and Information Services will launch a platform for saving the stories of activist women at http://www.womensactivism.nyc.

You are invited to join the crowd in adding stories of inspiring women who have changed the world through their actions and words. These women may be famous or not well known. They may live in New York or anywhere in the world. They may be historical figures or current activists. The goal is to gather 20,000 stories of activist women from New Yorkers by the Women’s Suffrage Centennial in 2020 – #20000By2020.

To participate, add short posts about women activists who inspire you at: http://www.womensactivism.nyc/share.
