June 2015 event deadline: 5 p.m., Thursday, March 26

 

• 20 minute limit – including credits
• From states and cities EAST of the Mississippi
• Projects must be produced under a SAG-AFTRA contract
• Include the short’s title, the director's name and the SAG-AFTRA production number in the subject line

There is no cost involved to submit or attend. Filmmakers MUST be present at screening

SAG Foundation Script Reading Salon  

Send your feature scripts + TV pilots!

The Salon presents staged readings of film and TV scripts, featuring a cast of SAG-AFTRA members. They are interested in well-written film or TV scripts that would appeal to a wide audience.

Writers must be members of one of the performing arts (SAG-AFTRA, AEA, etc.) or affiliated unions (DGA, WGA, etc.), or a recent MFA grad. If the work is collaboration, then at least one of the writers must be a union member.

Please submit a brief synopsis of your project to: salon@sagfoundation.org - you will hear from them if they are interested in reading your script.

There is no deadline – they accept submissions on a continual basis.
