SAG Foundation Short Film Showcase is Accepting Submissions for June 

Submission deadline: 5 p.m., Thursday, March 26

Accepting short films and webseries from states and cities EAST of the Mississippi. 

Now accepting electronic submissions. Please send an online link with a password valid for at least 30 days, to: shortsny@sagfoundation.org. 

• Include the project’s title, the director's name and the SAG-AFTRA production number in the subject line.
• 20 minute limit, including credits
• Must be produced under a SAG-AFTRA contract
• There is no cost involved to submit or attend
• Filmmaker must be present at screening

You may also send a regular DVD – no Blu-Ray, labeled with the SAG-AFTRA production number, the director’s name, and an email address, to:

SAG Foundation NY Salon Seeks Scripts

The SAG Foundation Salon presents staged readings of film and TV scripts, featuring a cast of SAG-AFTRA members. They are interested in well-written film or TV scripts that would appeal to a wide audience.

Writers must be members of one of the performing arts (SAG-AFTRA, AEA, etc.) or affiliated unions (DGA, WGA, etc.), or a recent MFA grad. If the work is a collaboration, then at least one of the writers must be a union member.

Please submit a brief synopsis of your project to salon@sagfoundation.org. You will hear from the SAG Foundation, if they are interested in reading your script.

There is no deadline. They accept submissions on a continual basis. Looking forward to hearing from you!
