Los Angeles (November 1, 2010) — On Friday, October 22, 2010, Screen Actors Guild’s Regional Branch Division Board of Directors re-elected David Hartley-Margolin to the position of 3rd national vice president of Screen Actors Guild for a third term.
"It is an honor and a privilege to have been re-elected 3rd vice president. I am excited about the opportunities we have before us, especially collaborating with the members of The Presidents' Forum for One Union. I look forward to continuing to serve the unique needs of SAG members in the Regional Branch Division and am committed to opening the door to greater unity and cooperation across the country," said Hartley-Margolin.
Hartley-Margolin is a 34-year SAG member and has served as 3rd vice president since 2008. He has represented the Colorado Branch of Screen Actors Guild as its president or national board member for more than 20 years. He is an active committee participant and has served as chair of the National Guild Governance Review committee since 2003.
Hartley-Margolin is a voice artist whose credits include multiple television, commercial and non-broadcast voiceover appearances including several documentary productions that aired on PBS. He has narrated over 500 books for The Library of Congress' National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped and was the recipient of the 2002 Alexander Scourby Narrator of the Year Award for Fiction Narration.
