On Dec. 5, the San Diego Local held a membership meeting and dinner at Courtyard San Diego Central. San Diego Local President Larry Poole kicked off the meeting by welcoming the San Diego Local members. His president’s report touched on how members can get involved and discussed the different ways we were engaged in the community. From film festivals to workshops and beyond, our presence was visible. On a national level, National Board member Lou Slocum gave updates on recent bills signed into law to increase A.I. protections, the upcoming Commercials Contracts negotiations and the ongoing Interactive Media Agreement strike. After the meeting, members joined together to celebrate 2024 with food and laughter, creating memories through conversation and pictures.
