Sandy Reding is a registered nurse, a President of California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (CNA/NNOC), and Vice-President of National Nurses United (NNU).
Sandy has practiced as a nurse for nearly 40 years. She has been a leader in CNA since she led the effort in 1999 to organize two hospitals in the southern Central Valley of California, where she lives, and she has since helped organize nurses nationwide, including across the South. Sandy is a vice president of the California Labor Federation and serves on the executive board of the Kern, Inyo, and Mono Counties CLC. She is an active volunteer in RNRN, NNU’s disaster-relief program, and an outspoken public advocate for Medicare for all.
