SAG-AFTRA is pleased to announce the beginning of the TV/Theatrical Wages & Working Conditions (W&W) process in preparation for negotiation of the TV/Theatrical Contracts that expire June 30, 2017. W&W Committee meetings will begin nationwide on Oct. 24.
When: Friday, November 4 (Two sessions)
First Session: 3 p.m.
Second Session: 7 p.m.
Where: SAG-AFTRA Seattle local office
23 Boylston Avenue East, Suite A

It is only through the involvement of members that proposals for this vital negotiation are developed.
There are several ways to make your voice heard:
Wages & Working Conditions Committee Meetings — These formal meetings use the information and ideas gathered from the caucuses to create proposals for the 2017 contract negotiations.
Email Suggestions — Can’t make it to a caucus or committee meeting? You can still play an active part by emailing your ideas to wandw2017@sagaftra.org. All proposal recommendations will be reviewed by the Wages & Working Conditions Committee.
We would appreciate your letting us know if you plan to attend so that we can reserve space accordingly. Please either email seattle@sagaftra.org or call the Seattle local office at (206) 282-2506. Pease bring your membership card (paid through Oct. 31, 2016 or April 30, 2017) for admittance.
W&W Committee meetings are only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing — no guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome. No RSVP necessary; participation is limited only by fire department regulations. SAG-AFTRA members, please bring your membership card (paid through Oct. 31, 2016 or April 30, 2017) for admittance.
