Pricing: Conservatory fee for SAG-AFTRA members - $10 (Please bring your SAG-AFTRA card paid through Oct. 31, 2019 to class); non-current/non-union - $40
Because self-tape auditions have, in the last few years, become one of the most common types of auditions requested from actors, and because Hawai’i is so remote and self-taped auditioning is giving Hawai’i actors access to work that was previously unavailable, professional acting coach Scott Rodgers will teach a self-tape audition conservatory clinic that focuses on the most common problems facing actors when doing self-tape auditions. When you sign up, sides will be sent to you with detailed instructions and a submission deadline to submit your own self-taped audition. Class will consist of playback and discussion of 10-15 of these auditions.
*Note: Due to time constraints, we may not play back all self-tapes that are submitted. It’s “first-come-first-served” BUT PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SAG-AFTRA MEMBERS.
Any extra time will be spent doing exercises for, and talking about…auditioning!
