On April 30, SAG-AFTRA members attended a special seminar on advocacy and empowerment on set and how to diplomatically handle various sensitive issues that may arise.

The two-hour seminar, held at the Chicago Local office, included delicate topics such as shooting intimate or nude scenes, dealing with intimidation on set, stunts, and a review of SAG-AFTRA’s sexual harassment pillars.

Included on the panel were intimacy choreographer Sasha Smith and Christine Vrem-Ydstie, SAG-AFTRA performer and regional coordinator for Statera Arts. National EEO & Diversity Committee member Antonio Castillo moderated the seminar.

The event was sponsored by the National Diversity & EEO Committee.
