SF-NC Members Bring Production into the Union Fold

San Francisco-Northern California Local members are staying active on productions cleared to shoot locally. Thanks to a recent panel hosted by the SF-NC Voiceover, Commercials and Co/Ed Committee, aka VOCCO, chaired by Kathy Goodin, members learned how to encourage producers to hire members under the Local Co/Ed and Regional Commercials codes. Of particular interest was hearing from fellow member Liz Anderson how the independent film contracts offer the ability to cover productions of any budget level. Currently, among the list of unstruck work, productions approved to shoot under the Micro-Budget, Short Project and Interim Agreements are fortunately keeping members busy on set.
