The Singers Committee Puts the Spotlight on Vocal Health

More than 30 members attended a special seminar on vocal health presented by the Chicago Institute for Voice Care vocal specialist Jan Reed and Dr. Steven Sims on Oct. 1 at the Kafuherr Center. The event, hosted by the Chicago Local Singers Committee, covered a wide range of vocal medical issues, including vocal fatigue, reflux disease and medical disorders that impair the voice.
