The SAG Awards® will Stream Live Globally on Sunday, February 23 on Netflix

Sofia Carson and Noah Centineo have been named Ambassadors for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, which will stream live on Netflix, on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
 
Each year, the SAG Awards selects Ambassadors who exemplify the utmost values of the acting profession, serve as positive role models for the next generation of performers, and actively use their platform to advocate for humanitarian and public service endeavors. As SAG Awards Ambassadors, Carson and Centineo will provide viewers with exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the ceremony, participate in select SAG Awards pre-show events, and raise awareness for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and its programs, including the Disaster Relief Fund. Previous Ambassadors include Taylor Zakhar Perez, Yara Shahidi, Joey King, Alexandra Daddario, Ross Butler, Jurnee Smollett, Haley Lu Richardson, Phil Dunster, Logan Browning, Antonia Gentry and Harry Shum Jr.
 
Sofia Carson is an award-winning actor, singer, and producer who has forged a singular path in film, television, music and philanthropy. Globally acclaimed for her starring role in the Netflix phenomenon "Purple Hearts," Carson also served as an executive producer and co-wrote and performed the film's original soundtrack, which is one of the most streamed soundtracks in Netflix history. Carson most recently starred in the Netflix thriller “Carry-On” alongside Taron Egerton, Jason Bateman and Danielle Deadwyler. Carson has achieved an extraordinary milestone with two films making Netflix's Most Popular Movies list. Both “Purple Hearts” and “Carry-On” debuted at #1 on the weekly Global Top 10 Films list before going on to earn spots on the prestigious list. Carson’s next project is the upcoming romantic comedy film “The Life List” which will release on Netflix on March 28, 2025, and "My Oxford Year" later in 2025. Her other acting credits include Michael Bay's “Songbird,” Netflix's “Feel the Beat,” “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” and Disney's global phenomenon “Descendants.” As a UNICEF Ambassador, Carson has dedicated her voice to relentlessly pursuing an equitable world for every child, and was honored by UNCA as the “Global Advocate of the Year” for her impactful activism.

Noah Centineo is an actor and producer who rose to fame in the wildly popular Netflix trilogy  “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.” He currently stars and serves as an executive producer in the Netflix series “The Recruit,” which premieres for season two on January 30, 2025. He is also reprising his role as Peter Kavinsky in the second season of Netflix’s “XO, Kitty.”. In April 2025, Centineo will be seen in A24’s “Warfare” alongside Charles Melton, Kit Connor and Will Poulter. Centineo’s other film credits include A24's "Dream Scenario" which debuted at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, "Black Adam" alongside Dwayne Johnson and Pierce Brosnan, Elizabeth Banks' "Charlie's Angels," and Netflix's "The Perfect Date," and the ABC Family / Freeform series “The Fosters.” In 2023, Centineo launched his production company, Arkhum Productions, which focuses on comedy and drama projects with an emphasis on social commentary.

Award-winning actress and producer Kristen Bell will host this year’s SAG Awards, and legendary actress and activist Jane Fonda will be presented with the Life Achievement Award, SAG-AFTRA’s highest honor.

The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, produced by Silent House Productions in partnership with SAG-AFTRA, will stream live globally on Netflix Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.
