This week, hosts Ana Carolina Grajales and Sylvia Villagran lead the conversation about how Telemundo actors in Miami, represented by our union, were able to negotiate and achieve a historic first-ever collective bargaining agreement with the Spanish-language television network.
Our guests for this episode were instrumental during that process: Pablo Azar, chair of the negotiating committee, Carmen Olivares, negotiating committee member, Lauren Pérez-Rangel, SAG-AFTRA Director of Organizing, and Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, COO and General Counsel of SAG-AFTRA, and lead negotiator for the contract. They share never-before-heard details about the hard-fought campaign to organize Telemundo and achieve the first contract.
