Several SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local members took part in this year’s Labor in the Pulpit/on the Bimah/in the Minbar program over the Labor Day weekend on Sept 2. This 20-year-old event is a partnership between The Chicago Federation of Labor and Arise Chicago. Their mission is to unite the labor and faith communities by inviting volunteer members of the labor movement to be guest speakers at congregations and faith organizations throughout Greater Chicago.
