The following is sent on behalf of the New Hampshire AFL-CIO:
Brothers and Sisters, we need your voice to defeat so-called
"Right-to-Work" this Wednesday at the New Hampshire State House!

Brothers and Sisters,

New Hampshire working families are depending on us to stand up for them and fight the current effort to pass so-called "Right-to-Work" in our state. This Wednesday, Feb. 8, the New Hampshire House of Representatives will hold a public hearing on a version of so-called "Right-to-Work" legislation. We need every available member of the New Hampshire labor community and all of our allies to show up to this public hearing in force. This is a chance to explain the dangers of this anti-worker legislation to your representatives.

Governor Sununu has stated that if some form of so-called "Right-to-Work" reaches his desk, he will sign it. This means that it is absolutely crucial that we stand in solidarity and let our voices be heard.

This Wednesday we need to send a message so strong that the entire legislature takes notice. We need to make any legislator considering to vote in favor of "Right-to-Work" thinks twice. We need to make it clear that passing any form of this legislation will do nothing but make life more difficult for New Hampshire working families.

Out-of-state special interests are pushing "Right-to-Work" legislation to make it more difficult for us to come together, stand together and stay together in the face of attacks against New Hampshire workers. Make no mistake, if we do not stand together in this fight, we will be a "Right-to-Work" state in less than a month.

WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN.

Please join your brothers and sisters as they fight for working people this Wednesday!

When: 9 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8
(We will gather at this time before the hearing at 10 a.m.)

Where: New Hampshire State House, Representatives Hall
107 N Main Street
Concord, New Hampshire 03301
