The explosion of streaming media has been a boon for consumers and has democratized and diversified the stories, images and people we see on screen, but the new business model raises significant economic challenges for the journeymen actors who form the backbone of our creative economy. In this replay panel from last month’s SXSW, SAG-AFTRA members and staff discuss the central question of what the future holds for the actors at the heart of the productions feeding the ever-expanding appetite for streaming content.
This replay panel is presented by the SAG-AFTRA President's Task Force on Education, Outreach & Engagement.
