Congratulations! We are happy to report success in our long efforts to pass legislation creating a transferable film tax credit program in the state of Minnesota.
Members of the SAG-AFTRA Twin Cities Local, working together with our brothers and sisters in organized labor and allies in the industry, persisted through uncertain political times and a global pandemic to deliver the goods.
This victory was only possible through the collective activism of Twin Cities members who talked with their families, representatives and chambers of commerce about the importance of this legislation — not just for this local's members but to the post-pandemic recovery of the entire state.
