Supporting Economic Impact of a Successful Film Industry Around the World

On Nov. 15, San Francisco-Northern California Local staff met with members of the Chilean delegation to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit during Economic Leaders’ Week to discuss potential collaboration for mutual promotion of each other’s efforts in the entertainment industry. The Chilean delegate team was paying close attention to SAG-AFTRA’s strike and watching the outcome of the A.I. discussion, as the same issues are relevant across the world. Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders’ Week took place in San Francisco from Nov. 11-17, 2023. APEC’s 21 member economies include Chile and the United States of America.
