Talk It Up, Colorado!

Talk It Up! Colorado designed to engage and is a new series in Colorado designed to inform and engage members and pre-members on issues strongly impacting their careers. The first event took place at Denver’s Voodoo Comedy in January and featured new owner and SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Local member Nick Armstrong. Armstrong is an actor, writer and alumnus of The Groundlings and iO West comedy troupes.

Moderated by Local President Sheila Ivy Traister, the discussion provided helpful information on promoting oneself effectively in small and large markets, specifically in Colorado, California and New Mexico. The two-hour event was a fluid conversation between Traister and Armstrong, with audience participation, insightful questions and commentary, as well as a healthy exchange of ideas.
