Join members of the NY NextGen Performers Subcommittee for a quick tour of the 1900 Broadway space, followed by this month’s NGP Café chat, Creating Your Own Work. Content creators Sarah Seeds (Sarah Seeds Productions) and Evan Bass (Electronic Bass Entertainment) will moderate a laid back Convo/Q&A and talk about what it takes to produce content.
Afterwards hosts and attendees are welcome to continue on to happy hour at Merchant’s Gate in the Turnstyle Underground Market located in the Columbus Circle subway station (1008 S 8th Ave, New York, NY). Feel free to bring any +1’s or pre-members to happy hour. Please be advised all events taking place off-site after the in-office NGP Café are not official SAG-AFTRA activities.

It’s no secret that Instagram and the social media landscape are more complicated than ever. SAG-AFTRA NY Next Gen Performers and Ryan Walker present a seminar to help professional performers take their social media further in 2019.
This comprehensive and fast-paced seminar will explain how to grow social media pages exponentially, monetize large followings with brands, and utilize a presence for your current and future career. This seminar will also cover protecting yourself on digital platforms and safety steps as your audience grows.
About Ryan Walker
Ryan Walker is the founder of TSMA Consulting, an award-winning social media-consulting firm with a robust screen actors division. He regularly interfaces with Disney, Nickelodeon, and other major studios in the social media space, and has been recognized internationally for his expertise in digital entertainment. Walker’s previous background included working in casting, including Pixar films including Academy Award-winning Coco, and series such as Hulu’s East Los High.

Join the SAG-AFTRA Next Generation Performers (NGP) Subcommittee for a day of meeting and greeting with fellow millennial union members from the New England, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington–Mid Atlantic locals. The President’s Taskforce on Education, Outreach and Engagement will host a lunch and update attendees on many union-wide developments.
The SAG-AFTRA Foundation will host a tour of the Robin Williams Center, VO Lab and the Computer and On-Camera lab. They are also offering a Small Group Session: Focusing Your Career Goals, in the afternoon.
Lunch will be provided.
NGP consists of SAG-AFTRA members who encourage young adult professional members to take control of their careers, get involved with their local SAG-AFTRA government and get active through social media, social networking, meet-ups, community outreach, special events and more!
