 Members Get Ready: TV/Theatrical Negotiations Preparation Starts Oct. 24

Beginning Oct. 24, 2016, locals around the country will be holding Wages & Working Conditions (W&W) meetings in preparation for negotiation of the TV/Theatrical Contracts which expire June 30, 2017. 

Join your fellow members in making your voice heard in two ways:

Wages & Working Conditions Committee Meetings - These formal meetings use the information and ideas gathered from caucuses to create proposals for the 2017 contract negotiations. You may also raise your own areas of concern at these meetings. Check your email or your local web page at SAGAFTRA.org for specific dates and times in your area.

Email Suggestions - Can’t make it to a committee meeting? You can still play an active part by emailing your ideas to wandw2017@sagaftra.org. All recommendations must be received by Friday, Nov. 18, 2016. All proposal recommendations will be reviewed by the Wages & Working Conditions Committee.

Attention members who are actively producing: SAG-AFTRA members who are actively producing cannot attend the W&W Committee meetings due to conflict of interest.

Wages & Working Conditions Caucuses Set

SAG-AFTRA announced the beginning of the TV/Theatrical Wages & Working Conditions (W&W) process in preparation for negotiation of the TV/Theatrical Contracts that expire June 30, 2017. The Landscape of Scripted Dramatic Entertainment Presentation

The Wages and Working Conditions process (W&Ws) for the TV/Theatrical contracts kicked off in August. Members attended this presentation to learn more about how the industry is changing and the impact those changes are having on the membership. In person presentations were held in Los Angeles and New York, with a webinar held for locals across the country.
