This holiday season, give the gift of participation on your local committees. Twin Cities Local SAG-AFTRA members can serve the union through participation in a variety of committees. Serving on a committee is a great way to lend your talents, experience and knowledge of the industry to the Twin Cities Local to benefit your fellow members.
The SAG-AFTRA Twin Cities Local has three committees open to participation for any member of the Local in good standing. The three committees are:
Education & Outreach- The Education & Outreach Committee works to develop programming and professional development events that serve SAG-AFTRA members in the Twin Cities Local and reaches out to industry and community partners.
Film Festivals- The Film Festivals Committee works to plan the outreach and participation strategy for film festivals across the Twin Cities Local area of jurisdiction (which includes all of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota).
Organizing- The Organizing committee works to help non-members who wish to join SAG-AFTRA become a part of the union and to further our relationships with other Unions in the Local’s area of jurisdiction.
