Twin Cities Member Committees Get Down to Business

The Twin Cities Local’s Education & Outreach and Organizing committees held inaugural meetings in Minneapolis in mid-December.

The Education & Outreach Committee met on Dec. 12 to discuss outreach efforts and ways the local can provide quality programming for members, educational opportunities for pre-members and ways to build the union’s relationship with industry groups within the region. The Organizing Committee’s meeting took place via teleconference on Dec. 13 and focused on SAG-AFTRA’s work with other unions as well as ongoing efforts to support programs focused on growing Minnesota’s film industry.
