The Actors Fund is holding two free workshops to help you understand “Obamacare” and the proposed changes, provide you with clear guidance on what your options are, and answer your burning questions! Open to anyone in visual and performing arts and entertainment.
Questions answered include-
- What’s different from last year?
- What are my insurance options now?
- How much will it cost me?
- Am I eligible for a subsidy?
- Am I eligible for free insurance?
- How do I estimate my sporadic income for the application?
- Where do I get care if I can’t afford insurance?
This initiative is in partnership with Arts + Public Life, (an initiative of UChicago Arts), SAG-AFTRA, and MusiCares.

Park at 10 East Ontario. Enter on the north side of Ontario between Wabash and State, and then take a ticket. When you sign in, you may purchase a four-hour ticket for $13 cash, payment. You will need both tickets to exit the parking structure.
This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing. Unfortunately, no guests allowed. Parents/guardians of younger performers under 18 years old are welcome. SAG-AFTRA members, please bring your membership card or digital card on the app (paid through Oct. 31, 2018) for admittance.
