Update Regarding Kimberly Katz Talent’s Franchise Surrendering

Attention all SAG-AFTRA members currently or formerly represented by Kimberly Katz Talent:

It has come to our attention that there appears to be some misunderstanding regarding the current franchise status of the Kimberly Katz Agency, and that some communication(s) from the agency which has been distributed to SAG-AFTRA performers has caused some confusion in the Chicago Local. At present, the agency is neither franchised under the Legacy SAG or Legacy AFTRA agency regulations and, as such, members may no longer deal with this agency for all SAG-AFTRA covered work. Should that status change, SAG-AFTRA will notify its members accordingly. For now, the bulletin sent out to SAG-AFTRA members (click here or see previous post) remains current.
