Since the start of the pandemic videoconferencing skills have become a must, not just to keep in touch with friends and family, but to audition and even to shoot remotely. Everyone from casting directors, to agents, to SAG-AFTRA and the SAG-AFTRA Foundation uses Zoom to connect, and the ability to use this software is a skill everyone must have.
