On Jan. 24, after visiting the set of the AMC series Turn, local SAG-AFTRA staffers Tamara Daniels and Chris Cook attended the Virginia Production Alliance’s 25th Anniversary Wrap Party. The event took place at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond and included a tour of the Hollywood Costume Exhibit. The exhibit showcased a wide collection of iconic Hollywood costumes dating back to the early 20th century.

During the event, both Daniels and Cook corresponded with a number of fellow attendees and discussed past, current and future projects. The evening’s highlight included a presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Rita McClenny, director of the Virginia Film Office, for her 22 years of service on behalf of the film industry in Virginia.

The SAG-AFTRA Washington – Mid Atlantic Local was a proud sponsor of the event and thanks both the Virginia Production Alliance and Rita McClenny for their tireless work of bringing film and television to the Commonwealth of Virginia.
