Los Angeles Local SAG-AFTRA members have faced numerous challenges, from the pandemic to the strike and now the devastation of the wildfires. In support of our community, the L.A. Local Healthcare Safety Net Committee’s Mental Health Subcommittee will present an intimate panel focusing on collective trauma and the resilience of the human spirit.
Please join Secretary-Treasurer Joely Fisher and National Board member and Co-Chair of the L.A. Local Mental Health Subcommittee Sean Astin, as they bring together spiritual guides, thought leaders, community advocates and individuals who have experienced grief, loss and adversity.
This event marks the beginning of a series designed to provide a safe space where attendees can explore their emotions, feel seen and heard and acquire valuable tools to navigate life’s mental and emotional challenges. The central theme of the series is the power of community—how shared experiences of trauma can pave the way for collective healing. Through storytelling, reflection and mutual support, members will explore practices that promote recovery and resilience. Ultimately, this series will remind us that we can heal, rebuild and stand together even in the most difficult times.
